Volunteers lay wreaths 90 K in Arlington cemetery

ARLINGTON, VA – the honored veteran volunteer who is buried in Arlington National Cemetery on Saturday with a massive effort to put down tens of thousands of Holiday Wreaths on their tombstones.

Maine’s gov. Paul LePage and Senator Olympia Snowe joined thousands of volunteers in place a bouquet of flowers with a red bow at about 90,000 veterans gravesites. It’s mostly a bouquet of flowers placed in a cemetery in ever tradition was 20 years old. The wreath most ever given in the past is 25,000, spokeswoman Amber Caron said.

Organizers say they hope to place wreaths 100,000 this year, but donations fell short of that goal. However, the non-profit group wreaths across America said they aimed to honor every veteran in the cemetery by placing a wreath there were 220,000 in the future.

About 15,000 people joined the effort, Caron said. Within a few hours, all distributed at the funeral wreaths are great.
